It is impossible to locate content that you’re not familiar with unless you have some sort of database to help you find what you’re looking for.  Search engines are responsible for connecting you with the world’s knowledge. All you need to do is type a few words that relate to the information you’re looking for and hit “Search.”

This search function has been refined over the years. At one point, search engines were heavily dependent on keywords when it comes to classifying content. Well, guess what? It didn’t end so well. Websites soon found out that they were ranked according to how often they would mention certain “keywords” regardless of whether they mean anything and they started to fill up their content with redundant keywords that were impractically uncalled for. Nowadays, search engines have stricter rules and more careful criteria for ranking content. People are now able to locate data, meaningful data, whenever they need it thanks to the evolution of this search system. The system becoming more intricate and specific has posed a great problem for business sites as it made the whole “ranking thing” more challenging for them.

Well, what can I say but necessity is the mother of all inventions? The need to rank search engines for better visibility has given birth to the SEO that we know today. Should You Bother Yourself With SEO?
